Training and development programs are also important to cope up with the changes in technology and with diversity within the organization. Before delegating a responsibility or duty, apprentices must attend general training program relating to the pesticide safety and usage of chemical.

The categorized training helps the technicians to get more knowledge in which category they will practice, it involves Marine pest control, general pest control, rodent control, termite control and fumigation of stored products. After the training the technician should attend for a P.C Technician test and have to pass that exam conducted by The Fujairah Municipality Pest Control Section.
